The Himeji Castle Cherry Blossom Festival is a spring tradition at Himeji Castle.
At Himeji Castle’s Sannomaru Square, which was selected as one of Japan's Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots, you can enjoy performances of koto (a Japanese stringed instrument) and Japanese drums against the background of the World Heritage Site, Himeji Castle, amongst cherry blossoms. In addition, you can enjoy Himeji's unique flavors through tea ceremony, local sake, Himeji oden, deep-fried kamaboko (fish cakes), and more.
