HistoryOtokoyama Senhime Tenmangu Shrine
Located to the northwest of Himeji Castle, this small shrine is said to have been built by Lady Sen to pray for the prosperity of the Honda clan by enshrining the Shinto god Tenjin here after her remarriage to Honda Tadatoki. Construction of the new shrine building was comoleted in April 2002.
