Outdoor AdventuresLocal FoodHimeji Heartful Strawberry Farm

From December to May, visitors can enjoy 30 minutes of all-you-can-eat picking across seven varieties, including Yotsuboshi, Kaorino, and Benihoppe. Picking takes place inside a greenhouse, so it's a goodoption on rainy days too. The strawberries are grown on raised beds, so there's no bending down topick — families with small children tend to enjoy it a lot.
With seven varieties growing side by side, visitors can taste and compare as they go — each one hasits own balance of sweetness and tartness, size, and aroma. It's a fun way to try several of Japan'sstrawberry varieties in one visit and find a favorite.
We also ship gift boxes for those who want to send strawberries to someone, usually available throughlate February depending on the season. English-speaking staff are on site, so overseas visitors arewelcome
