Guided TourA tour heading towards the sea from Shikama Kaido ◎Includes a ticket for Eki Soba, a specialty of Himeji Station!
During the Edo period, the Shikama Highway was constructed from the port of Shikamazu to Himeji Castle. It became part of the Silver Carriage Road, an industrial road that connected Ikuno Silver Mine, one of Japan's largest silver mines, to the port of Shikamazu, and still retains its appearance today. This is a three-hour cycling tour that follows the historical road, heading for Himeji Port, where the sea breeze is pleasant, and takes you to a cycling road on an abandoned railway line and a charming sake brewery.
