Getting Around in Himeji City
There are also many different options for traveling smoothly around within Himeji City.
Train
The Sanyo Railway connects Himeji to Kobe and Osaka. You can travel from Himeji Station to Umeda Station (Osaka) without changing trains.
Also, if you use the Himeji Tourist Pass, you can get a discount on travel from Kansai International Airport to Himeji.
Bus
Within Himeji City, you can travel by city bus, and there is also a limousine bus that can bring you to Himeji Station from Kansai International Airport. There is also a loop bus that runs between Himeji Station, Himeji Castle, and nearby areas.
Taxi
There are taxi stands on both the north and south sides of JR Himeji Station.
