Himeji FoodsAmaneya North Station Shop
The Amaneya North Station Shop is located about 200 meters from Himeji Station toward Himeji Castle (on the north side), in a narrow alley off Otemae-dori (on the west side).
Our "Nibei" anpan (bread roll filled with red bean paste), named after the historical strategists Kuroda Kanbei, from Himeji, and Takenaka Hanbei, from Tarui-cho, Gifu Prefecture, is popular with history fans of the Sengoku period (1467-1615).
In addition, Amaneya's "Otsukai" sweets, packaged in adorable baskets and boxes make wonderful souvenirs.
