【Notice of Temporary Closure】 4/1～12/31 Himeji City Art Museum　

The Himeji City Art Museum will be closed entirely (including the museum café and other facilities) for extensive renovation work, including major repairs to the building’s air conditioning systems.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.

Closure Period
April 1, 2026 to the end of December 2027

While the current plan is for a closure of one year and nine months, the reopening date will be announced on our website and other channels once details are finalized.

Regarding the Garden
The garden will remain open during the museum’s closure period. Please feel free to use it as a place to relax.

Opening Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Closed during the year-end and New Year holidays (December 25 to January 5 of the following year) and every Monday (or the following weekday if Monday is a national holiday).
